San Diego, California (September 24, 2001) Medinox, Inc. is pleased to announce the promotion of Claire Padgett to the position of Vice President of Clinical Operations. In this position, Ms. Padgett will direct all aspects of Medinox's clinical operations including supervision, conduct, and administration of domestic and international clinical research programs. Ms. Padgett will also be responsible for managing the clinical development process through involvement in the design and execution of plans to successfully run clinical trials.
Ms. Padgett's career in clinical research spans 23 years and includes experience in both the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Her wide-ranging background includes positions of increasing responsibilities in domestic and international clinical research for pharmaceutical, medical device, and biotechnology products. Before coming to Medinox, Ms. Padgett was Director of Medical Affairs at Genetronics, Inc., Director of Medical Research and Safety Operations at Ligand Pharmaceuticals, and Executive Director of Clinical Project Management at MDS Pharma Services.
Ms. Padgett holds a master's degree in Biology and Business from Seton Hall University and a bachelor's degree in Medical Technology from Rutgers University.
