San Diego, California (March 18, 2002) Medinox, Inc. is pleased to announce today that F. David King has joined its executive team as Vice President of Corporate Development. In this position, Mr. King's primary responsibility will be to establish collaborative partnerships for Medinox's clinical drug development programs. Mr. King reports to Monte Lai, Ph.D., Medinox's President & CEO.
Mr. King has over 21 years of experience in business development and licensing as a pharmaceutical industry executive. His expertise in this area has led to the completion of significant corporate development deals with industry partners.
Mr. King comes to Medinox from Harrington Pharmaceuticals Inc, a San Diego-based pharmaceutical company, at which he was co-founder and acting CEO. Prior to Harrington Pharmaceuticals, Mr. King was Senior Director, Business Development for Maxim Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
Previously, Mr. King held several executive and management level positions at various pharmaceutical companies, including DepoTech Corporation (now SkyePharma Ltd.), and Glaxo Inc. (now GlaxoSmithKline). He began his pharmaceutical industry career in sales and marketing for Stuart Pharmaceuticals (now AstraZeneca). Mr. King holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Goshen College in Goshen, IN.
