Accomplishments

Since its inception in May 1995, Medinox has made many significant business and scientific accomplishments. The Company has:

• Initiated a Phase I/IIa clinical trial of NOX-100, an intravenous nitric oxide blocker, in patients with distributive shock due to sepsis.
• Completed a Phase I safety trial of MX-1094, an NSAID prodrug for the treatment of arthritis.
• Completed a Phase I clinical trial of NOX-700, an orally active nitric oxide (NO) neutralizer in development for diabetes mellitus.
• Completed a $13.8 million private offering of preferred stock on January 7, 2002, bringing the company's total equity financing to $29.2 million.
• Generated a robust pipeline of products with realistic prospects for commercialization.
• Developed an extensive intellectual property estate for its technology.
• Executed a major co-development deal for NOX-100 with Fuso Pharmaceutical Industries, Ltd. of Osaka, Japan.
